A flavorful garlic chicken wrap loaded with tender grilled chicken, fresh veggies, and a zesty garlic sauce—perfect for lunch on the go or a quick, satisfying dinner!
Recipe:
2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or diced) |
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or any cheese of your choice) |
2 tablespoons minced garlic (fresh is best for flavor) |
1 tablespoon olive oil (for sautéing) |
4 large flour tortillas (whole wheat or spinach tortillas work well too) |
1 cup fresh spinach (optional, for added nutrition) |
Salt and pepper to taste |

Directions:
Step 1: Sauté the Garlic
In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
Step 2: Add the Chicken
Stir in the cooked chicken, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the chicken to absorb the garlic flavor.
Step 3: Melt the Cheese
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella over the chicken and cover the skillet. Reduce the heat to low and let it cook until the cheese melts, about 3-5 minutes.
Step 4: Prepare the Tortillas
While the cheese is melting, warm the tortillas in a separate pan or microwave for about 10 seconds to make them pliable.
Step 5: Assemble the Wraps
Once the cheese is gooey and melted, remove the skillet from heat. Place a generous scoop of the cheesy chicken mixture onto each tortilla. Top with fresh spinach if desired.
Step 6: Roll and Serve
Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it up tightly. Cut in half and serve immediately, perhaps with a side of salsa or guacamole for dipping.
